Although it is a smaller city, Crescent Springs is a very active community and employs a competent staff of individuals who maintain the day-to-day operation of providing information, record-keeping, scheduling and many other tasks that need constant attention.

Susan G. Hill

Sue Hill was hired in August 2006 as assistant City Clerk, becoming City Clerk in August 2008.

Her goals are to serve the residents of Crescent Springs in a polite and professional manner and to run the administrative functions of the city efficiently.

Susan Laws has been employed with the city as assistant city clerk since September, 2008.

She enjoys learning how city government works. Her personal interests are reading, sewing and embroidery.

George Ripberger

George Ripberger first joined the City in 1977 as a police officer. He was with the Police Department and retired as Police Chief in 1999.

He now serves as the Public Services Director, Building and Zoning Administrator and ABC Administrator.

Dewey Krohman

Dewey Krohman began with the City’s Public Works Dept in 1996. He is now the Public Works Supervisor.

Phil Rachal

Phil Rachal was hired by the Public Works Dept. in 1999.

He also serves in the United States Army Reserves. He is attached to the 478th Engineering Battalion in Ft. Thomas, Ky and has served 2 tours of duty in Iraq.

 

Andy Haar, Roger Randolph, Shirley Hartfiel, and Alan DePompei are part time employees who help maintain the City’s parks, flowerbeds, streets and buildings. During summer, you may see several additional seasonal workers hired to keep up with the City’s demanding maintenance routine.
