Kenton County Veterans’ Memorial

The City of Crescent Springs is proud to be the home of the Kenton County Veterans' Memorial.  The Memorial is part of the City Park and is located at the corner of Buttermilk Pike and Collins Road.  The Memorial honors the service men and women, who lost their lives in World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War, the Desert Storm War and the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Former Councilman, Lou Hartfiel and his family have been the driving forces in raising funds to construct and maintain the Memorial. Pavers were sold and many residents purchased the pavers to recognize their family and friends, who lost their lives defending our Country.  If you care to purchase a paver, they are still available by calling Lou Hartfiel at 859-341-9144 or stop by the city building to pick up a form.

Every Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day ceremonies are held at the Memorial.  Recently, a bench was installed at the Memorial to recognize the City’s involvement in supporting the Army’s 101st Airborne, 1st Division, 320th Field Artillery Regiment based at Fort Campbell Kentucky.
