Government

Crescent Springs operates on a Mayor-Council form of city government, and is a Home-Rule city as defined by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Mayor and Council are elected on four and two year terms, respectively. It is the intent of every officeholder to fully and fairly represent the residents of the Crescent Springs in local government, but also as ambassadors of the City to other municipalities, neighboring counties, and our State elected officials.

To compliment these elected officials, Crescent Springs has a superb organization of dedicated employees, consisting of a City Administrator, City Attorney, City Clerk, Assistant City Clerk, and Public Works department. In addition, your City Government welcomes the opportunity to make our community attractive to businesses and their employees, neighbors from the Greater Cincinnati region, and visitors passing through.

Finally, your City is fortunate to have a number of residents who volunteer to serve on various Boards and Committees. Included here is a list of the Boards and Committees in place today, along with information about their membership and mission.

We extend an open, standing invitation for residents to get to know City Leaders and Staff. Everyone is welcome at Council and Caucus meetings. Council meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month while Caucus is held on the second Monday. Both meetings begin at 6pm. These meetings offer residents the opportunity to observe the legislative process, present information or ask questions, and meet your Crescent Springs civil service.
